Basic Sign Language Group

 

Basic Sign Language Group uses American Sign Language.  The group meets every 1st and 3rd Monday from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at The Arc office. 

Heather Telthorster, Leader, uses PowerPoint presentations to teach American Sign Language.  Sign Language handouts are provided. 

The free sessions provide an opportunity to learn American Sign Language by:

Learning to sign new words

Signing stories and sentences

bullet

Signing common conversational phrases

bullet

Providing role-playing  

The Basic Sign Language Group is free and open to all ages and skill levels.  Participants may attend all or some of the classes as their schedule permits.  New members are welcome to join at any time.
