The Arc of Indiana County was established in 1973 as a nonprofit organization. The Foundation for The Arc of Indiana County was established in March 2005, in order to provide financial support for new programs and special projects. The Foundation seeks donors and pursues fund-raising activities and special events designed to secure the support of The Arc membership and the general public. Foundation representatives also network with business and civic community members for support and to promote public awareness of The Arc of Indiana County and its mission.
